The IL eFOG cellular app is an electronic reference of the Illinois Interoperability Field Operations Guide. The IL eFOG is a technical reference for emergency communications planning and for radio technicians liable for radios that might be utilized in disaster response. It contains guidelines and laws to be used by the State of Illinois and different interoperability channels, tables of frequencies and normal channel names, and different reference materials.
The IL eFOG mobile app provides customers quick access to public safety communications information, providing a content index with hyperlinks for quick jumps to reference sections, tables, figures, or photographs. The ability to save Favorites and create in-line notes permits customized entry to important data. IL eFOG can be downloaded and then taken to the sphere as an offline reference, to be used without the need of an Internet connection.
IL eFOG was developed by the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency (CISA) underneath the Interoperable Communications Technical Assistance Program (ICTAP).
