This newest improvement combines the two previous functions (Look up a Ship and Find an Inspector/Union) into one great app that gives a one stop store for seafarers seeking vessel information, contact details for ITF inspectors/affiliates and the ITF Helpline. The data displayed is derived immediately from the ITF’s centralised system and is due to this fact as up to date as attainable.
Aside from merging the two earlier applications we now have additionally launched;
•Colour coded system on vessels to simply establish that are covered, uncovered, National flag and so forth. The colors being;
o Green – Covered vessel
o Yellow – Vessel under negotiation (Prospect agreement)
o Red – Uncovered FOC vessel
o Orange – National flagged vessel
o Blue – Cruise vessel
•Hotlinks to affiliate contact information by touching the Signatory Union identify on covered vessel details
• Ability to contact the ITF Helpline immediately from the app via telephone or email
